Friday 28th February (yesterday)


Refer to post below for details. Cabbed to Tampines mall to find ashley after the 4L movie outing. Actually... only a few girls were there. He's just not that into you is kinda funny and Jennifer aniston is still very hot O:

Met Eirene and Ashley near fie japan (in tm!). Eirene left shortly after that to meet her friends while the both of us walked to interchange macs. & Ashley's new phone is weely pwetty!

On our way, we saw these kiddy games @ pasar malam and decided to play! We shared the 3 bucks for 50 pingpong balls ;D VERY ENTERTAINING!!!

1) Reached school at 8:28! (ALMOST LATE!! O: )

2) I'll aim to do well for PW, and my temporary group's fine :] I officially got my secret exposed to the whole class and...PW HERE I COME ;D *prays hard for a great group*

3) Talked to Wilson bekloo yiting @ cafe while glenda and sandra were having h2 maths lol. (which means I didn't do my art then D:)

4) I thought I'd die during art cause I didn't bring any resources (fell asleep yesterday night), but my camera saved me. PHEW. Still haven't taken more photos for resources bleh.

5) Forgot to get my friends' numbers so I don't think I can go to the art museum tomorrow even though its the last day. Going with the JC2s would be very weird, of course.

6) GP was a total waste of time. Towards the end of the lesson, she showed us the national geographic video on propaganda in north korea. I've watched that last year, and History's just so interesting ): If the geo-hist combi wasn't so heavy I would have ditched econs for history i'm serious.

7) Decided to go for Band practice, good thing I did. Well, I'm still not sure if I'd get into photographic society so its band for now. They gave me the flute, and the first one was spoilt -.- Was wondering at first why I could play it last week and not today. (still at first octave ): ) Here's a noob saying HI!!

Well, I like the seniors and she told me that ONLY 30 PERCENT OF THE AIR WE BLOW GOES TO THE FLUTE. I know the phrasing is weird but you get what I mean right? That means we're using as much air as the tuba players! O: No wonder I felt so giddy afterwards @.@


8) Bought milk and pizza, took 81 to white sands and waited for bus 354 to get to E-Hub. I felt really weird then, but its okay I guess. The movie -- he's just not that into you was pretty entertaining imo. JENNIFER ANISTON IS DAMN HOT. I've always liked her hehe :]

Some scenes were abit gross HAHA. Heck we're already 16! The funniest part was when this person smashed the mirror in her house out of anger, stormed out of the room and CAME BACK WITH A DUSTPAN HAHAHA. typical wife behavior lol.

Movie ended at 9, we took a group photo (with chinyee) and I left E-hub to find ashley.

9) Cabbed to Tampines mall and met Eirene + Ashley. Eirene left shortly after that to meet her friend, while ashley and I PLAYED GAMES AT THE PASARMALAM + ATE AT MC CAFE!! The games were so fun, I'll post the pictures soon, we even won pooh stickers muahahah.

Don't you all miss tampines interchange macs! (MIRIAM CHONG FTW) Who knows I might just end up missing the study in my school after JC2 O: Miss studying at the dark mccafe area or the round tables in bus interchange macs, be it alone or with my friends. Which reminds me, its time to mug! 8D



10) Left at 11:10 pm cause Ashley had to rush for her train HAHA. Mccafe double choc drink = BEST STUFF ON EARTH. Oh, I asked for ALL the sauces over the macdonald's counter again 8D Riane goh if you're reading this we should TOTALLY do that again!


11) I don't think I have plans for tomorrow besides studying. WHO WANTS TO BE MY MODELS FOR THE REASEARCH THING I NEED 6 PEOPLE LOL.

PE after PW. we were made to run 6 rounds, and though I'm complaining I know it'll increase and most people do more than 6 rounds anyway. But considering its our first lesson....2.4 km is considered quite hiong. I only started running for the last two rounds and my legs are tired like shit now.

Tried hard to stay awake during geog tutorial but failed. I don't understand why I get tired so easily, goeg is DEFINITELY not a subject I hate so it wasn't cause I was bored, and I've slept for an hour during free period in the morning so why should I be so tired? Trust me, I really tried hard to stay awake. Seems like my entire family has this problem, and I'm glad my geog teacher was really nice about it.




Ohyeah, I was having a realllllllyyy hard time choosing between and photographic society and band today. After some advice from my friends (got sms consultation somemore) and mom, I FINALLY decided to join photog during the last lesson. Reason is simple: I'm gonna put my academics as first priority and joining photog would definitely save me alot of time. Besides, I get to take pictures using a dslr and we have courses too.

There goes my dream of playing the flute (or basically any instrument) with a band. The thing that's stopping me from joining is that the band itself isn't really that good. (I didn't say I am). and well. two days is always more than one LOL

Not joining it would save me around 4 hours per week and I could use that time to improve on my sketching skills (which is bad) or even play the piano for a little while. btw, there isn't time for me to learn diploma anymore bleh D: Its JC life afterall eh. But its okay, I'll still play when I have the time to!



They had a photo critic session during photography and a movie screening session, and Wilson Bekloo Glenda and I left at 5. The journey home wais soooooooo long, I was just slipping in and out of slumberland.

After art yesterday, I took bus 72 with Yao, Syairah, Atiqah, Ashiqin and Nadia. We met Yao's friend Ezra on the bus and he had quite alot of interesting stories to tell us lol! The rest of the girls were laughing like mad and chatting while I sat there listening lol. I later found out that he walks home through the TM-starbucks way too!

From that I also discovered that they used to have h1 art (which ONLY includes the SOVA paper, which is more or less analysing art pieces and so on). So cool eh, its the least heavy h1 subject combi, I heard. Yay for tampines!

I skipped school today because I was still coughing away and needed extra hours of sleep. There are 4.5 hours of free periods and its quite difficult to rest in school anyway. Am still coughing like mad.


& that was the best decision ever :]

Kaiying smsed to ask if I wanted to lunch together since she has 3.5 hours of freeperiods O: (all hail the arts students we always get the most owning amount of free periods) So I met her at Century Square at around 1 for lunch :D We talked about rather random things but mostly about school, it kinda felt as if we were eating lunch after school during our sec 4 days!

I'm very glad I'm still able to meet up with my friends like that even now awww :} Maybe I can find anna one day since our schools are the nearest to each other, or I could go home with somebody from mjc since I pass by their school everyday, meet up with ky like today or even meet up with somebody from Vj (annia siyun terie!) to study with me! See, this way I won't have to feel sad about having nobody around me 8D

After kaiying left for school, I settled down at bk and studied/did my tutorials. THAT WAS SO DAMN ACCOMPLISHING. I actually sat there for like, 3 hours without being distracted!! Emma = short concentration span but not today, definitely. I hope I can stay this way so my results will go up, up, and up.

Then I'll be able to prove to you guys that lousy jc DOES NOT equate to lousy students! :D Btw, SRJC = Super Raffles Junior College. HAHAHAHA A SENIOR TOLD ME THAT AND I WAS ROFL-ing ALL THE WAY.


Yup, so I completed my two page econs essay, my gp journal and read through ALL the geog lectures my teacher had gone through. I've come to a conclusion that my short concentration span is due to my lack of sleep normally.

Bought a shoebag after my very productive studying session and went home.






My CT just smsed to ask if I was okay. Besides the times when she's in her skirt, shirt, hair catching moods, she's actually quite nice I think :D My classmates who showed concern too ^_^ AND RANDOM PEOPLE WHO SMS ME TO ASK HOW I AM TOO HAHA.

I think its damn sweet and cool to receive these random "how are you" messages when I'm feeling down. Its as if they know I need somebody to cheer me up hehe :P

I would also like to thank my mum for talking to me today, because that kinda made my day. I'm gonna stop whining and crying about how unfair the world is. Those who goes against all odds, stay strong till the very end and who's always able to smile will make it in the end :D To hell with my sucky timetable and my wrong replacement subject!

Had pyjamaparty @ Ivy's house yesterday! According to the rest, my voice was damn hilarious. At first it sounded as if I was gonna break my voice (Anna was laughing like mad at that lol), then it became all husky and sexy, and at night it was so bad they called me a frog HAHA.

Pictures from my camera are not up yet cause I was really tired yesterday :X When the rest left (Ky anna ash jolene zhixi) THEY TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT ME ): So when I came out of the toilet the house was almost empty besides the few staying over .__. I would have emo-ed like hell if this ever happened last year but I didn't okay! So proud of myself hahaha.

Sick. Much worse than yesterday, actually.


I sound like a crow when I try to sing, dead serious. ): People are supposed to sound sexy when they get a sorethroat but I sound like a crow instead how great is that D: AND MY THROAT HURTS LIKE CRAP FROM ALL THE DRY COUGHING. Haven't got such a bad cough since...primary school or something.


We played with plaster of paris during art, got lost in our own worlds during GP (unless she's discussing about newspaper articles), found out about psychology and social science during PW.


During band practice today, around 15 of us stayed in the renaissance room and had short lessons with the conductor. It was kinda boring, and I can't freaking practise using my support cause I'll cough whenever I try to do so.

Imagine me singing in choir today. HAHA.

There's one thing really sad. They are short of instruments, and since I wasn't from band in secschool I obviously can't take the remaining instruments so........zzzz. triple zzz (s)

I'm tired. This is such a boring entry but I'm too tired to write or upload anything else.

AJchoir - Kasar mie la gahi



This song brings back great memories, huh? (can't find an AHSchoir version) Along with Meplalian and everyone sang, it brought us our GoldwithHonours in 2007 and left us screaming (and some crying) in VCH. I remember losing all our hopes in getting a Gold (let alone honours) right after our performance cause we really screwed up. Miracles do happen 8D

My best AHchoir moments are the ones in Olomouc though. (but Riane couldn't go!!! gah ): ) Credo freaking owns haha :D Some of the choirmembers cried after we left the stage cause it wasn't up to our standard but still, 99 points! & MANY unforgettable memories ^_^

I also miss my sec 1 and 2 days where we saing ALOT of different songs like Luk luk lumbu, Chuan ge, Shan hai huan chang, Kometsuki, Avemaristella, Voyage of songs etc. Don't get me started on Voyage of songs and Jubilate II and Quispiam Novus and our guest performance for TKchoir and En suelo mas alto (if that's how you spell it. The AHS 50th anniversary concert)




I miss singing in choir ALOT, but I definitely won't be joining it in my current JC for a few obvious reasons. I don't know what to say about cca today, somewhat disappointing but who am I to comment as a beginner myself?


The first instrument I picked up was obviously the flute (not because everybody wants to play it too), I could play the first scale on it but I can't remember the fingerings now O: Anyway that was just a short period of time and I didn't have the chance to touch it anymore after that.

They let me try the oboe afterwards but that was MUCH tougher than the flute I swear. Actually, I like the sound of an oboe much more but its seriously MUCH more difficult sigh ):

Any other instrument sounds great enough :D While the rest of the JC1s joining ONLY for SYF would be practising, we sad little kids would be left alone I think. D: The advantage I have over most of the JC1s (not in the syfgroup) is having a musical background, but I shouldn't dwell too much on that either, I think.


Seems like alot of them are only joining for SYF and are not going to stay. Yup, our school is desperately in need of experienced players for SYF09 so they have the option of joining another cca right after the start of may (after SYF)

Its 12:38 am now, I just started doing my homework cause I fell asleep on the sofa right after dinner. JC life is tiring, even on our first official week of lessons.

Man, looking at the amount of "flaming" and complaints I had about our p/vp, the school and (a particular teacher) back in my AHS days, I would have been screwed updownleftrightcentre by now. Actually, I DID get screwed once in sec two, really badly too. lol. (the sentences sound gramatically incorrect shiat)

MY ENGLISH IS DYING.




Not that I have much to complain about school, anyway.

My class is getting MUCH MUCH better, because not all of them are bochap like I thought, and they seem pretty helpful, enthusiastic and genuine anyway. I got to mix with a few of the malays and Indians during various lectures and tutorials. (sorry for generalisation) Proud to say I can actually spell and remember all their names!!

Syairah is the only other girl who's taking art from my class. DAMMIT, WE GOT DISMISSED AT 7 PM TODAY BEAT THAT. Art students lead a really sad life ): Today's studio practice was DRY as we didn't come prepared with researches for that sculpture. Oh, and I got appointed the art rep for no particular reason; my teacher's finger randomly pointed to me. (I think)

One mistake I did was to say "okay lor" when she pointed to me :/ Ohwell. Next lesson would be on friday during lunch period D:




Free periods were spent reading some econs notes (in the study ALONE! You know what's miraculous? I ACTUALLY ENJOYED STUDYING ALONE), brainstorming for ideas for the sculpture thing, AND talking to bekloo, yiting, wilson and dina @ the library! Yiting was SOOOO excited when she found out I love Leehom too ROFL!!

Well, my art teacher seems much nicer on the second day and I have a feeling the reason for me being so happy today (EVEN THOUGH WE'RE DISMISSED AT 7) is beacuse of (THE GUST OF WIND THAT PASSED BY ME IN THE MORNING 8D. shhhh, secret code.)

I helped a few people tie their ties today for CT periods HAHA. Not that I'm very good at it, they turned out half squarish and half triangularish o_O

Ohyes, my pe teacher rocks (Y). Her motivational talk works okay I'm gonna do my geography homework right now :] I shall stop giving bad vibes about SR from now on :D

One more thing, there were rockclimbing trials when I was having art lessons!!! Awww D:

Friday 13th 2009


We had talks in school from morning till 1230 -.- Pastoral, Character, Discipline, Leadership etc.

My school doesn't get hyped up over Valentine's day so it wasn't like AHS where everybody goes around like madmen/women in the morning. Man, I actually miss those days where your table would be filled with sweets, notes, flowers and everything nice when you step into the class.

I wrote notes for a few people, and that was probably around 1/10 of what I did last year LOL. ate baked potatoes during the break with Wendy, Glenda, Sandra and Bekloo. The only people celebrating vday were the councillors I think, they really had bags and bags of presents zomg.

Got a fererro from Wendy and a cookie from Annisaa, the talks after the break were seriously DAMN BORING. The few of us sat at the back of the hall, and I was playing with wilson's phone, talking to glenda and looking around half the time and spent the other half stoning and sleeping O: My stomach hurt damn alot during the talks too ):



Its Wendy's last day in SRJC today so we decided to take photos :D I'll definitely miss her, she was really nice (especially when she helped me out in those blindfolded games! ^_^)

Everybody's asking me why I'm not gonna join choir in JC, and the answer is simple: It'll never ever be better than AHchoir, I wont' join any cca that won't give me any sense of satisfaction. Nope, don't think I'm joining SYF09choir in SRJ either.
